Jack Pringle
Jack has been playing guitar for over 15 years. He first started playing at the age of eight, taking private lessons in the Vancouver area under instructor Derek Jenson from 1994 to 2000.
While in high school, Jack was enrolled in strings class, Grades 8 through 12, and majored in Music Composition 11 and 12. It wasn't long before he was playing lead guitar in numerous bands in the Vancouver bar/nightclub circuit. He was even given the opportunity to perform at the Make a Wish Foundation charity fundraiser in 2005.
Playing and learning naturally led to teaching, which Jack has been doing privately for the last three years, instructing guitar and Harmony and Theory, one of Jack's strengths.
He has mastered some of the hardest performance techniques on the guitar, like sixteenth note sweep-picked arpeggios and three-note-per-string angular scales at over 300 b.p.m. In fact, he has mastered the styles of the greatest rock guitarists of all time, like Eddie van Halen and Steve Vai, note for note. Nevertheless, his thorough comprehension of Harmony and Theory allows him to tastefully improvise in most styles of music.
Over the years, Jack has accumulated over 400 instructional books and videos from all over the world, which he regularly continues to study from. His passion for music is extraordinary, and he strives hard to advance his skills on the instrument, studying and recording his music daily.
He aspires to further his music education and continue teaching guitar.
